Our Team

Marco Lobaton 

Founder

Marco Lobaton, is an EMT and set medic with a background that bridges production and emergency care. Having worked on set as a signed model, he developed an early understanding of the pace and expectations of high-end shoots.

He went on to serve as an EMT throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, building extensive experience in high-pressure, real-world medical response. He now works as a set medic across commercial and fashion productions,. His approach is defined by composure, awareness, and the ability to operate seamlessly within fast-moving production environments..

Mace Vannoni

Mace Vannoni is a lighting director working across fashion, advertising, and high-end commercial production. Beginning her career in production and moving into G/E, she developed a firsthand understanding of the physical demands and risks present on set.

After experiencing multiple on-set emergencies where response felt unstructured, she identified a disconnect between medical readiness and the way productions actually function. With a background shaped by a family in medicine, she saw an opportunity to bring a more integrated, production-aware approach to on-set care.

Apex Medics was built from that perspective — combining clinical expertise with a deep understanding of how high-level sets operate.
